greenhouses

the

white
apple
cucumbers

with
home
gardeners,

fruit
are
second
only
to
tomatoes
in
terms
of
commercial
hydroponic
production.
Cucumbers
(Cucumis
spp.)
are
universally
popular
as
a
fresh
salad
vegetable,

yield

numbers
of
fruit
compared
to

ancestors
and
have
been
bred
for
pest

disease

which

Cucumber
Salad with Feta
2
large
cucumbers
8 oz. feta cheese,
crumbled
1/2 red onion,
chopped
2 Tbs. olive
oil
1 Tbs. lemon
juice
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. (or
dash) paprika
Preparation:
Peel
cucumber,
remove
seeds
and
cut
into
cubes.
Combine
with
onion
and
cheese.
Whisk
oil
and
lemon
juice
together
and
drizzle
over
vegetables.
Add
cumin
and
sprinkle
with
paprika
before
